Zire™ 72 Handheld

Using the 5-way navigator

The navigator lets you access information quickly with one hand and without the stylus. The

navigator does various things based on which type of screen you’re on. To use the navigator, press

Up, Down, Right, or Left; or press Select in the center.

Moving around the Home screen

In the Home screen, use the navigator to select and open an application.

Right or Left Scrolls to the next or previous application

category.

Select Inserts the selection highlight. When the

selection highlight is present:

Up, Down, Right, or Left Scrolls to the

next icon in the corresponding direction.

Select Opens the selected application.

Tip

To remove the selection

highlight without making

a selection, scroll to the

first icon (in the upper-left

corner) and then press

Left on the navigator.

Tip

From most applications

you can return to the

Home screen by holding

down Select on the

navigator.

Tip

If the built-in camera is

open, you can also press

Select to take a photo
